Wine Island is officially happening in November
No, this is not a dream. Wine Island is a real thing that Sydney has and it is happening for four days, starting November 10.

Who doesn’t love a rich, robust glass of red? Or a refreshing pinot grigio? For four days starting November 10, Clark Island – the heart of Sydney Harbour – will become a haven for lovers of a good drop.
The premise is simple and delicious. Offer guests a selection of unique, flavourful wines on an island setting. No need for a passport, no uncomfortable flight but still with all the vibrancy and charm of a tropical getaway.
Whether you’re only beginning your wine appreciating journey or a professional sommelier, Wine Island will have something for all palettes to enjoy.
There will also be a series of Masterclasses available for those interested in learning more about what they drink. Bubbles Off! will introduce people to the taste of Australian Sparkling wine and the history of Prosecco. New Wave Wine is all about uncovering hidden treasures on the shelf. And for potential hosts, a cheese and wine matching course is also on offer. Um… yum!
All holiday-makers will be transferred by ferry from Man O War Steps, Sydney Opera House (East). You will be welcomed aboard the Bubbles Boats with a glass of Rotari sparkling for the short journey over to Wine Island. Once on the island, you’ll sip your way through a selection of over 100 new wave and classic wines, complementing the gourmet food on offer, all while listening to the perfect island soundtrack.
This is a strictly 18+ event and tickets are limited.
