Surry Hills Food Safari

Surry Hills Food Safari

Get to know Sydney’s hippest neighbourhood the right way – with all of the foods.

One of Sydney’s greatest attractions is the variety of food on offer, catering to every palate. So it’s no wonder then that events such as the Food Night Safari Surry Hills are in such demand.

As the name suggests, the Food Night Safari is an evening of gourmet snack hunting through Sydney’s coolest neighbourhood – Surry Hills.

Filled with bars, pubs, restaurants and foodie delights, Surry Hills has become a mecca for tourists and locals on the hunt for delicious treats washed down with a decent drop of something cool and frothy (or sparkly) afterwards.

Held weekly, the Safari will lead you through the tangle of quaint terrace houses, past the galleries, studios, boutiques and theatres, and introduce you to the local venue owners and their produce.

Along the way, you will visit several must-try food and drink venues and have the chance to taste samples at each of them, with a sit-down break halfway through. You will also learn about how the venues were established and why the owners are so passionate about their craft.

The cost of the tour is $65 per person, and this includes all tasting samples (but not beverages).

Spaces are limited so booking in advance is essential. If you’re travelling in a big group – eight or more – then you can also organise a private tour for your gang.

For more information on the Food Night Safari Surry Hills and to book your spot on their next delicious adventure, head to the official Foodi website.
