The Waiting Room

A taste of Scandinavian cool is operating in the heart of Sydney’s newest food and fashion district, Barangaroo.

Chic, stylish, The Waiting Room is a quiet little destination located among the Streets of Barangaroo – Sydney’s hottest new destination for unique, quirky and statement-making fashion and accessories.

Which is what The Waiting Room has in spades.

Specialising in the calm, clean aesthetic of Scandinavia – with a  dash of European, American and Australian talent in the mix – The Waiting Room is a haven for minimalist, structured pieces.

Understated, with a focus on tailoring and quality, expect to find curated brands such as Swedish shirting brand Eton; eyewear from classic labels Moscot and Garrett Leight; timepieces from Daniel Wellington; as well as jewellery of local artist Georgia Perry.

There’s also perfumes from the incredibly talented Ulrich Anvers (New York) and Maison Louis Marie (France), a pioneer in French botanical history.

The Waiting Room is a reminder that one of the joys of exploring a new city is the chance to walk into an old-school, bricks-and-mortar store with all the tactile of experience of finding new brands, new looks, new sensations.
