A stylish destination for men seeking quality accessories and fashion, Belance is your go-to for the good stuff.
When gents of Sydney are after an injection of good taste and quality staples, they head to boutique store Belance.
Based in Paddington, Belance is two floors of curated goods that cater to men with an eye for fine detail.
Originally an online portal for men’s goods, founders Theodore English and Oscar Leal as a destination for menswear accessories, opened the doors to their first bricks and mortar store in 2014 in the heart of Sydney’s fashion district, William Street in Paddington.
Specialising in contemporary yet classic goods, English and Leal have selected the best in both local and international brands that combine aesthetics with practicality – because what’s the point of a great looking wallet if it can’t do the thing it should?
Bags, rings, hats, ties and everyday staples such as T-shirts and sneakers are in abundance here from brands such as Kenzo, Mocha Salt, Bellroy, Grenson and Hunter Lab. And while they may say they’re a men’s destination who’s to say women can’t stop in to find their own new card holder, some wood-scented body wash or an ultra-soft hoodie.
But if you’re after something a little extra, the duo have also opened a brand new destination in Barangaroo where you can also discover Belance tailoring.
Combining traditional tailoring with contemporary style, Belance Barangaroo is a made-to-measure service that also combines on-site styling, where experts will match accessories to your suit.
Once you make your appointment, choose from an assortment of cloths that include Belgian linen or Italian wool while you’re measured up. You can also tweak and alter the final garment to taste, guaranteeing a creation that is uniquely yours!
The time frame from first visit to a brand new suit in your wardrobe is roughly 4-5 weeks.
